Lha Bab Duchen is one of the four major commemorating events in the life of the Buddha. The auspicious event of Lord Buddha's descent from god realm on the 22nd day of the Ninth Lunar month ( Oct 27th 2021 )
Buddha Shakyamuni ascended the god realm at age of 41 to give teachings to the gods in that desire realm and to repay the kindness of his mother by liberating her from samsara. Buddha spent three months in god realm and descended to human realm from there at the exhortation of his disciples.
On this auspicious occasion, our Sangh are reciting the Songs of Realisation of Great Kagyu Masters on Lha Bab Duchen at Pullahari Monastery.
