Haa
Tergo means ‘doorway to treasures’. The new road over the 3,720-metre pass connects Haa to Samtse, and opens up sacred sites which were previously difficult to reach. Sangbaykha means ‘hidden land’, referring to lands where religious treasures were hidden by Guru Rinpoche. It is believed that there are still sacred treasures yet to be discovered.
